Vinette Varvaro has been an artist all her life. Her parents Vincent and Merrianne Varvaro both talented artists always encouraged Vinette’s inherent artistic gift. “Being an artist is the most important part of who I am and I’ve always known that a life dedicated to creativity would be my path.” After receiving a BFA in painting from Ma. College of Art and an MFA in painting from The Art Institute of Chicago Vinette moved to N.Y.C.’s Soho district and embarked on a successful career as an abstract painter. Her talents however were not limited to painting.
Over her 40-year career Vinette has always enjoyed a variety of artistic entrepreneurial undertakings. Among her ventures have been, fashion design, furniture, lighting and accessory design, teaching at Endicott College, Mass College of Art and Montserrat College of art, lecturer, muralist and interior designer. Currently Vinette manages her interior design company, STUDIOLA and her Web sites, Vinette’s Studio and The New Botanicals from her offices in Newburyport Ma. where she resides with her husband Lee and her two Boston Terriers Frank and Beans.
